Long-time Placitas residents, they presented an informative historic overview of the Placitas Community’s efforts with watershed enrichment and mitigation of fire risks in Las Huertas Canyon. They covered the nearer term history of the Sandia Collaborative Las Huertas Canyon "Forest Thinning Alternatives" Focus Group’s efforts. Lynn, Carolyn, and Susan discussed the history of Las Huertas Canyon restoration efforts.
